Rachel Hunt
Rachel completed her 200 hour YTT at Peachtree Yoga Center in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Her yoga journey began after a year of struggling with stress-induced migraines. After attending a local class, she became hooked and committed to a daily practice. Over time, yoga significantly reduced the frequency of her debilitating migraines. Passionate about wellness, Rachel is eager to share the transformative power of yoga with her students. She firmly believes that yoga is for everyone and that establishing a regular practice can be life-changing. Her mission is to live this passion and introduce yoga to those who may not traditionally gravitate towards it.
Rachel resides in the North Atlanta suburbs, where she also works as a high school history teacher at Seckinger High School in Buford, Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with animals, reading, and connecting with nature.
Hannah Liechty
Hannah completed her 200 hour YTT at Ahimsa Yoga in Ithaca, NY in 2016. She first started a regular yoga practice two years earlier to help with anxiety and gain more flexibility. She quickly fell in love with the practice and continues to be motivated by the enjoyment she gets from sharing it with others. Hannah’s teaching experience began by taking over an Ashtanga class which has informed her faster paced teaching style over the years. Recently she has been finding the beauty in slowing down by teaching a gentle practice at her local library. Her classes focus on breath as a guide to movement and her intention is to help people meet themselves where they’re at. Being gentle and listening to the body is the crux of what she preaches to her students.
Hannah resides in Springfield, IL where she is pursuing her master’s in sustainable development and policy. Through this program she is also interning in source water protection at the Illinois EPA. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, and being with friends.
